SHADOWS

Billabong dreaming on a sunny late afternoon with shadows and reflections to make the heart swoon….

LUSCIOUS

Bright luscious berries, too beautiful not to photograph.

PERSPECTIVE

Perhaps the grass does look a little greener when viewed from this perspective….

FRESH

One zebra found something fresh to roll in while another one leaves the scene.

MOTION BLUR

Ocean tern flying off in a hurry, albeit without the bait he was trying to steal.

STARBOARD

The Hillbilly Hilton flies the skull and crossbones on its starboard side.

OCEAN

Yesterday we took a drive along the Great Ocean Road, my little P&S struggles to do justice to the views from the cliff-top lookouts along the way, while the gathering storm clouds chased us all the way home.

CHARACTERS

These cockatoo characters don’t mind sharing your table at an outdoor cafe in Lorne. One of them took over a chair next to a group of German backpackers, the girls quickly moved indoors….

COMMON

Craypots in all shapes, sizes and colours are a common sight on the wharf at Apollo Bay.   We spent a great afternoon fishing from the rockwall, watching the waves roll in, and a few sailing vessels tackling the windy conditions.  Large dark shadows gliding up and down the length of the rockwall turned out to be smooth rays but the highlight of the day was when a seal came in to visit, I swear he waved a flipper to us all as he made his way back out into the ocean.

GROUPS

Groups of frogs are known as an army, a chorus or a colony, these guys are just known as ‘The Croakettes’.
