Yesteryear’s equivalent of a punctured tyre.
As I was winding down the road,
a tired team and a heavy load;
I cracked my whip and the lead horse sprung,
and the hind horse busted the wagon tongue.
Wheely and Twuely!
I’m betting there would have been some perfectly inappropriate language uttered by the person trying to get to church or market on time. 😉
Who knows, they may have carried spares!
Like this appearance of yester years equipment!
I would have liked to have taken it home for the garden, a bit of nostalgia.
I want that wheel for my garden too, a perfect addition! 🙂
