When I use the ever reliable ‘chocolate mud cake’ mix out of the packet the results are always edible, even the icing comes in a sachet to help me achieve a ‘store bought’ look.

This image should have a warning before you see it… I love chocolate cakes, so to see this at breakfast time is torture (in the nicest way)
