We had a great day exploring the Pioneer Settlement and finding out how tough it was to live back then in the early days of life along the river Murray. There are many authentic buildings and artifacts to discover and plenty of old tractors and machinery to climb over too.

  1. Isn’t it amazing how people made in ages past? This wasa perfect exploration of the theme. I like your processing which lets us know that the photos don’t represent the hear and now.

  2. how would I like to be there for a day or two, it’s a world of which I could and can only dream; your pictures give a very good impression of how life in earlier times has been.

  3. I like that you could enlarge this and see all the wonderful detail. Were the boys and man sitting on the bench part of your group?

  4. I like looking back at these times but would not want to give up the modern conveniences such a bathroom facilities, medical care and food preservation that this generation didn’t have. Love nostalgic and vintage but not living it….super processing.
